- The most typical curl-related job is when company or individual X wants to automatically perform a transfer, a login, a submission or similar on a complicated web site requiring authentication, cookies, javascript magic and similar.
- Added GnuTLS support for company TH.
- Designed and implemented HTTP Pipelining support for company HI. (The implementation was done in cooperation with an HI employee.)
- Designed and developed a file tranfer "hub" that could download and upload files to and from servers on a schedule, as controlled by a web-based GUI for company AA.
- Added an option to ignore the IP address in PASV responses for company CU.
- libcurl "help-desk" for company AT, answering questions about internals, usage and debugging libcurl-using apps.
- libcurl development "technical support" for major company AD, to stand by the dev team when they decided to base a major product on libcurl for transfers.
- Developed a system for buying and downloading (using libcurl) movies, including ability to resume previous aborted transfers and MD5 checksuming them before actually charging for the transfer.
